JOB TITLE Registered Nurse – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Location: Oconomowoc, WI (791 Summit Avenue) Department: Labor & Delivery / LDRP Type: Contract Pay Rate: $62/ hour Contract Duration: April 7, 2026 – July 4, 2026 (13 Weeks) Schedule: Full-Time (36 Hours per Week) Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend On-Call: None About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a healthcare facility in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to hire an experienced LDRP Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract assignment. This role supports a high-volume LDRP unit where nurses provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. The RN will be responsible for triaging patients, circulating in the OR for cesarean sections, and managing both maternal and neonatal care in a Level I–III acuity setting. This opportunity is ideal for highly experienced LDRP nurses who are independent, adaptable, and confident in managing complex obstetric cases while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Unit Overview Unit: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Total Beds: 36 Patient Population: Maternal and newborn (Level I–III acuity) Patient Ratios: Labor: 1:1 Antepartum: 1:3 Mother/Baby Couplets: 1:3 Case Types: Levels I–III obstetric care Facility: Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Key Responsibilities Provide full-spectrum obstetric care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum Triage and assess incoming patients Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections Provide postpartum care and newborn assessments Manage care for NICU and mother-baby patients Administer medications and implement care plans Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care Document patient care accurately in EPIC Collaborate with physicians, NICU staff, and interdisciplinary teams Float to other facilities or units as needed based on census Required Qualifications Active Wisconsin RN license required BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Minimum 5+ years of LDRP experience required NICU and Mother Baby experience required At least 1 prior travel assignment required Experience with triage and circulating in the OR required EPIC EMR experience required Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently Scheduling & Expectations 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) 36 hours per week guaranteed (excluding orientation/holiday adjustments) Every other weekend rotation Holiday rotation required No on-call requirements Floating required to nearby facilities (Waukesha Memorial, Mukwonago, or others) as needed Additional Information Scrub Color: Any color Orientation: Begins April 7 or ASAP COVID-19 vaccination required (unless medical/religious exemption applies) Floating: Based on census and within skill set Environment: Requires flexibility, independence, and strong time management skills Why Join MedOp Solutions This LDRP RN assignment offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, full-spectrum obstetric unit with exposure to a wide range of maternal and neonatal cases.
