Responsible for client retention, annual increases, and enhancement penetration.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture, Construction/Project Management, or related field; or at least 5 years related work experienceExtensive knowledge of regional plant lifeField ExperienceMinimum 3 years of verifiable field experience with project estimating or design-build workStrong estimation background, with working knowledge of construction/installation & irrigationFamiliar with commercial landscape equipment and their functionsLanguage SkillsAbility to read, write and comprehend EnglishAbility to speak effectively before employees and clientsMathematical SkillsBasic mathReasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule formatCertificates, Licenses and RegistrationsAs required by state and federal lawValid driver license issued by the state where employedPMP preferredOther Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStrong customer service skills, with internal and external clientsEffective oral and written communicationAdvanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, document management, and cost forecastingAbility to read and interpret constructions plans/drawingsExperience working the commercial property managers, vendors, consultants and architects a plusAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlinesOrganizational skillsFlexibilityAdvanced presentation skillsIntermediate to advanced understanding of SalesForce, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management SoftwareIntermediate to advanced experience using design software, including Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and ProLandscapeEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesServe as point-of-contact for high level site and project issues to expeditiously and proactively identify, address, and resolve client needsAct as liaison between operations and client, ensuring clarity in communication and expectationsConduct walkthroughs with client and other company representatives as appropriateEvaluate accounts and develop an effective and on-going landscape asset management planBuild a strong knowledge base of each client’s business, organization, and objectivesCollaborate with Area Managers to maintain a holistic understanding of ‘Invest’ and ‘Enhance’ client sitesStay up-to-date on day-to-day site operations and issues to identify trends in need of comprehensive solutionsCreate, manage, and control scope of work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgetManage all project communication between internal and external clientsAnalyze and understand job cost reports and budget variances related to contract projectsPrepare monthly forecast of labor and materials, and accurate job costing of work ordersMeet or exceed annual sales goalsGather, calculate and compile take off data for use in bid estimatesAccurately prepare bids and landscape designs & renderings, by utilizing field collected data and computer programs, to present to clientVisit jobs in progress to relate actual estimate; review questions or problems that may ariseManage billing process, including communicating change orders, lien releases, progress billing, etc.Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, insuring accountability and quality for priceEnsure safety on every project by enforcing safety training and meetings, as well as consistently monitor job sites for potential safety hazardsConstantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practicesSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position may manage multiple Enhancement CrewsSecondary Duties and ResponsibilitiesSeek opportunities for continuous improvement of project management, technical and communication skillsOther duties as assignedPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
