Responsibilities - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including entrees, appetizers, and desserts, following recipes and menu guidelines. - Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and workstations, in accordance with health and safety regulations. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards. - Assist with food preparation, including chopping, dicing, and sautéing ingredients. - Help with food service, including serving meals to guests, handling food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production. - Participate in kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash. - Monitor inventory levels and help to restock kitchen supplies as needed. - Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing excellent customer service and contributing to a supportive and respectful work environment. Skills - Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or banquet setting. - Knowledge of food preparation, food service, and kitchen operations. - Ability to follow recipes and menu guidelines accurately and efficiently. - Strong attention to detail, with a focus on food safety and quality. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic kitchen setting. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards. - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
