If you're dedicated to delivering excellent client service and this sounds like a good fit, start the application process today!Responsibilities:Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunitiesCustomize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional/work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needsDetermine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectivesSeek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisorProvide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goalsMaintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to dateOnboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policiesEvaluate new customers' insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectationsProcess current policyholders' insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claimsGrow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertising our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategiesQualifications:Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other tools strongly preferredA required Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or similarly related fieldExemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clientsBasic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessaryValid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 preferred but not requiredPossesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsPrior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonusMust have graduated from high school or received a GED; a Bachelor's degree is desiredPrevious customer service or experience as a sales representative preferredCurrent Life & Health insurance license is greatly valuedAbout Company:As a mutual company, with no investors or outside owners, New York Life is uniquely aligned with clients' interests and priorities.
