Job Description Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Mental Health Counselor (Contracted Vendor – LLC Required)Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (Procurement Vendor Agreement)Classification: Contracted / Non-EmployeeSchedule: Approximately 3 days per week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMAbout the OpportunityAt The Dimock Center, we provide integrated medical, behavioral health, and community services designed to advance health equity across Boston neighborhoods.We are seeking a licensed clinician operating through an established LLC or professional business entity to provide behavioral health services for individuals living with HIV within our Community Care program.This role supports patients navigating the emotional, social, and behavioral health impacts of HIV through individual therapy, group facilitation, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a community health setting.Important:This position is not an employee role. The selected clinician will contract with Dimock as an independent vendor through the organization's procurement process.Scope of ServicesThe contracted clinician will:Provide individual and group therapy for HIV-positive clients (panel approximately 60–80 patients)Develop and facilitate structured therapeutic groups addressing:medication adherencehealth and wellnessdisclosure and relationshipsliving well with HIVConduct psychosocial assessments and maintain clinical documentation consistent with program standardsCollaborate with medical providers, case managers, and behavioral health staffProvide crisis intervention and support following new HIV diagnosesAssist patients and families navigating disclosure and adjustment challengesMaintain timely billing documentation and support prior authorization processesContribute to required HRSA/HAB reporting and quality improvement initiativesParticipate in interdisciplinary meetings as neededVendor Requirements (Required)To be considered, applicants must:Operate through an active LLC, PLLC, or comparable professional business entityBe able to contract through Dimock's procurement/vendor onboarding processMaintain appropriate professional liability insuranceSubmit invoices in accordance with contract termsProfessional QualificationsMaster's degree in Social Work or Mental Health CounselingActive Massachusetts licensure required:LICSW, LCSW, or LMHCExperience working with individuals living with HIV, substance use disorders, or complex trauma preferredExperience serving culturally diverse communities strongly preferredFamiliarity with community-based and interdisciplinary care modelsBilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged to applyWhat Success Looks LikeStrong therapeutic engagement with medically complex patientsEffective collaboration within integrated medical and behavioral health teamsHigh-quality documentation supporting continuity of care and complianceDelivery of meaningful group programming that supports long-term stability and treatment adherenceWork EnvironmentOffice-based clinical work within a federally qualified community health center utilizing an integrated care model.How to Express InterestQualified clinicians or clinical organizations interested in contracting with The Dimock Center should submit an introductory email outlining qualifications and licensure to: tcullen@dimock.orgThis email will serve as the initial point of contact prior to procurement review and vendor onboarding.Equal Opportunity StatementThe Dimock Center is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
