VP, Account Executive - Client Service

Our teams are motivated to provide custom offerings designed to help every potential client make the most of their partnership with Guidepoint.Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for a VP, Account Executive - Client Service on the Institutional Client Service team. This person will promote our subscription-based research service to various business units within existing clients (hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity etc.), in order to grow overall usage.This is a Hybrid position in our Boston office. What You'll Do:Own a portfolio of client accounts that have been clients for 2+ years, ensuring long-term retention and growthLead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, renewals, and commercial conversationsDrive upsell, cross-sell, and package expansions across existing accountsProactively meet clients in person and virtually to strengthen executive relationshipsIdentify and activate new users within existing client organizationsDevelop account growth strategies and revenue plans in partnership with service leadershipMonitor usage trends and intervene strategically to prevent churnServe as senior point of contact for escalations and high-level client discussionsPartner closely with client service teams to ensure flawless delivery and client satisfactionWhat You Have:3-5 years of experience in account management, relationship management, or consultative salesProven track record managing renewals and negotiating contractsDemonstrated success driving upsell and cross-sell revenueExperience managing mid-sized to large B2B client portfoliosStrong executive presence and ability to build C-level relationshipsComfortable conducting in-person client meetingsCommercially minded, proactive, and highly accountable What We Offer:The annual base salary for this position is $100,000 - $120,000.
