Robotics Technician

Job Title: Robotics TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming robots to weld, which includes both programming from scratch and modifying existing robot code. The role also involves working with vision systems, setting up, and maintaining Fanuc robots, and setting welding parameters.Responsibilities+ Program robots for welding tasks, including creating new programs and modifying existing ones.+ Work with vision systems to enhance robotic capabilities.+ Set up and maintain Fanuc robots for optimal performance.+ Establish and adjust welding parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.Essential Skills+ At least 5 years of experience with robot programming.+ Proficiency in Fanuc or Motoman robots.+ Experience with control wiring, relays, and inputs/outputs (I/O's).Additional Skills & Qualifications+ An Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.+ Experience with vision systems and servo robots.+ 3+ years of hands-on robotics experience, preferably with Fanuc.+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Work EnvironmentYou will spend 90% of your time on the floor working closely with a team of 9-10 Robotic Technicians and 4 Mechanical/Automation Engineers. The position offers overtime compensation at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 40 hours and is available due to company growth. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mentor, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
