Controls Engineer

Position Summary & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field3+ years of hands-on PLC programming experience (ladder logic, function block, and structured text). Schneider Electric Modicon platforms are a strong plus; Allen-Bradley or Siemens experience is also valuedHMI/SCADA programming experience (Red Lion, Ignition, or similar preferred)Ability to perform engineering calculations for component sizing, thermal analysis of chillers/heat exchangers, and pressure-drop calculations for both compressible and incompressible fluidsStrong knowledge of industrial control system components (VFDs, motor controls, process instrumentation including dissolved ozone/ORP, safety interlocks, etc.) and the ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDsExperience designing, programming, testing, and commissioning control systems for process equipment
