Quality Inspector

*Hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift.* *1st Shift - 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.* *2nd Shift - 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m.* *Responsibilities:* * Inspect, test, and measure materials and products for conformance to specifications. * Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. * Read blueprints, work instructions, data, manuals or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, or measuring instruments required. * Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content and quantities inspected or graded. * Mark items with details such as graded or acceptance-rejection status. * Notify lead or supervisor of inspection problems * Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications. * Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models as needed. * Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs. * Repackage product according to packaging standards. * Uses computer software to input data when necessary. * Wears common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, fluorescent vests as required *Preferred experience:* * 1 to 2 years of Quality *Physical activities that are involved with the Quality Inspector position include:* * Standing * Lifting 5-25lbs * Bending * Twisting * Visual Inspection Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: From $16.00 per hour Work Location: In person
