R&D Engineering Assistant - Medical Device AssemblyMicro-Leads is a fast-paced early-stage company developing an injectable medical device to treat people with chronic pain with greater efficacy. Our company has extensive expertise in precision, closed-loop, and high-resolution neuromodulation /bioelectronic medicine devices.Responsibilities:Assembly and testing of miniature electrical and plastic/polymer medical devicesBuild miniature components to support the research and development teamBuild, setup, and qualify new and existing assembly fixtures and test systemsPerform assembly, laser cutting, and molding proceduresAssist with CAD drawings for mechanical designsExecute Minimum QualificationsOutstanding ability to work with your hands and fingers (excellent manual dexterity, particularly with very small things)Experience assembling small devices using adhesivesExperience mixing adhesives or siliconeExperience working with small hand tools, microscopes, tweezers, and wrenchesHigh attention to detailA positive attitude, the willingness to learn, and an excellent work ethicA high school diploma or associates degree Preferred QualificationsRework of PCBs using rework station and fine wireExperience soldering SMT components with a microscopeExperience with making small items (ex. laser cutting, molding, CNC machining)Practical experience reading electrical diagrams or mechanical drawingsComputer skills to run equipment (ex.
