The Learning and Development Facilitator Teacher will work to improve student achievement results by building capacity of teachers and increasing the leadership team's capacity.Work Schedule & Hours:The Learning & Development Facilitator will work on a 192 day contract.Training days for the Learning and Development Facilitator position will be embedded within the district scheduleThe Learning and Development Facilitator with paraprofessional providing release time, will receive 5 hours per week to plan for and provide teacher development and support.The Learning and Development Facilitator with a resident providing release time, will receive up to 8 hours per week (5 hours for LDF duties, 3 hours for host teacher duties) following Resident Companion Guide parameters to plan for and provide teacher development and support.Required to teach during spring intersession.Salary:Teacher Salary Scale$2,000 stipend + pay for 5 extra days.Opportunities for Additional Compensation, contingent upon experience, availability, and selection.$1,000 stipend to host a resident$1,000 stipend if supporting a 1st or 2nd year teacher designated as part of Texas Mentorship Training Program.Additional extra duty pay will be provided for teaching intersession and/or tutoring afterschool.Minimum Qualifications:Clint ISD employees only3 or more years of teaching experienceEC-4 or EC-6 teaching certificationT-TESS average of 3.7 in Domains 2, 3, and 4.
