Job Title: RN ICU Location: BROOKLYN, NY 11235 Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Hours Per Week: 36.00 (3*12) Shift Time: Night Shift 7:00 PM-8:00 AM Schedule Notes: 36 hours per week | 3 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 8:00 AM) Contract: 14 weeks Job Summary: The ICU Registered Nurse provides high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practice to support patient stabilization and recovery in an intensive care setting. Responsibilities " Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established clinical protocols. " Perform ongoing assessments and monitor patient responses to treatment and interventions. " Administer medications, IV therapies, and sedation safely and accurately. " Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate care plans. " Document patient care and clinical findings accurately and timely. " Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and emergency situations. Requirements " Minimum 2 years of Critical Care (ICU) experience " Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience " Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required Certifications " AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) " AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) License " New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License Required " Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration from NYSED Required
