Responsibilities Manage document control systems, CAD software, and records management processes. Develop and maintain standards, tools, and procedures for these systems. Provide mentorship to team members on proper use. Develop construction drawings, including detailed schematics and wiring diagrams for substation electrical components. Work closely with other Engineering Specialists to ensure CAD systems remain stable, issues are resolved in a timely manner, and new software and updates are adopted with minimal issues. Minimum Qualifications Proficient in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD At least 2 years of relevant experience Reliable source of transportation to office in Kent, WA Desired Qualifications Utility experience with protection and control systems for 12kV and above substations Experience developing one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams. Thorough understanding of NERC CIP standards and compliance requirements Experience working on hybrid drawings utilizing Descartes to edit TIF and CIT raster images. Proficiency in ProjectWise Explorer file management system Experience verifying revision integrity that document control storage system and CAD files match. Experience in wire checking schematics for wiring diagrams. Experience working on manufacturer provided CAD drawings. Experience working on CAD drawings to scale. Experience in building and maintaining block or cell libraries. Experience conducting field site visits for drawing verification. Experience completing design transmittals to be submitted to document control for processing.
