Material Prep Operator

Job Description Key Responsibilities:All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.1. Saw Room Hand:Operate sawing equipment to cut metal stock to specified dimensionsRead and interpret work orders and blueprintsMaintain saw blades and equipmentEnsure accurate measurements and precise cutsMaterial Handler:Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products throughout the facilityOrganize and maintain inventory in the stockroomAssist in loading and unloading deliveriesOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safelyGeneral Duties:Maintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPEAssist machinists and other team members as neededParticipate in ongoing training and skill development programsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularlyStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic math skills and ability to xhyhwjd read measuring toolsForklift certification (or willingness to obtain)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsMechanical aptitude and interest in machiningPreferred:Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environmentBasic understanding of machining processes and toolsExperience with CNC equipment
