Senior Systems Engineer - Analysis

Basic Qualifications BS Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent STEM field Proficiency in root-cause analysis, problem-solving skills, and statistical analysis Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or MATLAB Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET level; US citizenship required Job Description As a part of the Lockheed Martin community, we take on challenges and find solutions using creativity and collaboration. We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support multiple Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) programs and participate in all phases of the systems engineering process—including system design, requirements development, modeling and simulation, and testing. The engineer will leverage RMS systems engineering processes and procedures while performing their respective engineering and verification activities. In this important role, you will collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel. A desire to learn and adopt emerging technologies and tools will be key to success.
