Electrical Assembler

Job Description A client of Insight Global's is looking for a day-shift Electric Assembler in Hawthorne, CA. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on assembly of advanced battery packs, including soldering, basic electrical/ mechanical assembly, and follow documented processes.Responsibilities: • Solder wires, connectors, terminals, and possibly PCB components. • Assemble battery modules according to verbal, visual, and written instructions. • Perform insulation placement, busbar installation, cell prep, and wiring tasks. • Operate soldering irons, crimpers, torque tools, and measurement instruments. • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow ESD/electrical safety procedures. • Record each assembly step on production travelers.Preferred Experience: • Prior electronics or mechanical assembly experience. • Strong soldering skills (required). • Ability to follow precise assembly instructions and maintain high quality standardsPlusses: • Micro-TIG or laser welding experience (preferred but not required).
