Supply Chain Manager
Job Description Summary
The Supply Chain Manager leads the Materials Team for all Westminster facilities, aligning the supply chain functions from procurement through order fulfillment to support facility goals. This position directs supplier relationships, facility material flow, inventory management, indirect supplies, and inbound/outbound freight, assessing and managing risk while driving continuous improvement to achieve KPIs.

Steer day-to-day operations of the Materials Team, leveraging the teams knowledge, making strategic decisions, and fostering communication and collaboration among employees
Develop and implement site specific policies/procedures that achieve strategic objectives through the material flow cycle from purchasing to forecasting and planning to finished goods
Establish KPIs and monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality, delivery and costs requirements
Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain
Develop and maintain inventory management strategy of materials and supplies located at multiple internal and external locations
Collaborate with other departments, corporate purchasing and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications/Experience
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Minimum 5 yearsexperience in multiple disciplines of supply chain management
Minimum 5 yearsexperience in a leadership role
Preferred
Master's degree in related field
Minimum 3 yearsexperience as a Materials/Supply Chain Manager
APIC Certification in Supply Chain Management
Skills and Ability
Strong knowledge of business processes within multiple disciplines of material management, to include but not limited to, purchasing, material planning and forecasting, inventory management, material flow, logistics, performance metrics, and financial acumen
Strong knowledge of Inventory Management practices and procedures
Ability to inspire teams through effective communication, strong commitment, empathy, and a high level of trust
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to be innovative and creative with a relentless commitment to driving continuous improvement
Proficient in business systems such as ERP and MRP
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
