Job Title: IBM webMethods AdministratorLocation: Princeton, NJKey Responsibilities:Platform Ownership & AdministrationOwn installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching of IBM webMethods components including:Integration ServerUniversal Messaging and BrokerCommand CentralMy webMethods Server (MWS)OptimizeManage multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD) with environment consistency and governance.Plan and execute version upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.Certificate installation of target partners as per their requirement.Knowledge on webMethods designer and coding skills.Production Support & Incident ManagementAct as L3 escalation point for production issues.Lead major incident calls, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes.Analyze logs, heap dumps, and thread dumps to resolve complex JVM and runtime issues.Coordinate with IBM/webMethods support for critical SRs.Performance, Stability & CapacityProactively monitor system health, message backlogs, memory utilization, and thread usage.Perform performance tuning, JVM optimization, and capacity planning.Design and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups.Security & ComplianceManage users, groups, roles, and ACLs within webMethods.Integrate authentication with LDAP / enterprise identity systems.Configure SSL, certificates, and secure communications.Support audit, compliance, and security reviews.Automation & Operational ExcellenceAutomate deployments, restarts, housekeeping, and health checks using Command Central and scripting.Standardize operational runbooks and SOPs.Drive continuous improvement in platform stability and operational efficiency.Collaboration & Technical LeadershipWork closely with developers to support deployments, package management, and environment readiness.Provide technical guidance to L2 / junior admins.Participate in design and architecture discussions for new integrations and platforms.Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience in IBM webMethods AdministrationDeep understanding of:Integration Server architectureMessaging & API management conceptsESB and enterprise integration patternsExperience with Linux/Unix, Windows, JVM tuningDatabase knowledge (Oracle / SQL Server/Postgres) and basic networkingMandatory SkillsStrong hands-on experience in IBM webMethods AdministrationExperience with Linux/Unix, Windows, JVM tuningDatabase knowledge (Oracle / SQL Server/Postgres) and basic networkingOperational ExpertiseProduction support in 24×7 environmentsDR, backup & recovery planningEnvironment refresh and release support
