Warehouse Associate

Pick, put away, stage and distribute material and products within the facility. Returning all excess inventory to stock, packaging shipments, assisting in shipping/receiving, and keeping the warehouse organized. Requirements: 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a warehouse manufacturing environment. High School education Strong PC computer skills. Ability to operate a pallet jack or dollies in a safe manner. Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker Good organizational and time management skills Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Key responsibilities: Pick, put away, stage and distribute material and products within the facility Conveys materials and items in a safe and responsible manner from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to appropriate locations Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code. Manages & returns excess material working with Department Leads and Supervisor Maintain adequate inventory levels and practices Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping area. Perform daily customer and vendor pickups and deliveries as needed Perform daily cycle count in raw material warehouse Assist in shipping and receiving functions Support other departments in areas where Warehouse Clerk may help Timely and accurate completion of all special assignments or projects as required Ensure Compliance with all company safety standards Daily Reporting of time, materials movements, and job assignments Physical Requirements: Standing: This is an essential job function/physical requirement. Walking: This is an essential job function/physical requirement. Turning, twisting, bending, and stooping-These physical requirements are essential job functions. Pushing and Pulling- These physical requirements are essential job functions. Reaching, forward, and overhead are essential job functions /physical requirements. Lifting - employees must lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds with assistance.
