About The Core GroupThe Core Group builds immersive, hands-on learning experiences for students — after school, during breaks, and inside the school day. We're a team of career educators: former school leaders and classroom teachers who believe joyful experiences should be at the core of all learning. We partner with schools across the Bay Area to design programs around Explore, Move, and Create — because students learn best when they're doing all three.About the RoleWe're looking for an energetic, student-centered educator to lead after school programming in one of two tracks: fitness or wilderness. You'll design and run sessions that get students moving, exploring, and building skills they'll carry well beyond the school day. You'll own the experience end to end and stay in close communication with the schools we partner with. Start Date: August 24, 2026.Compensation$19 – $27 / hour, based on experience. This is a part-time position, approximately 14–15 hours per week, following the school calendar.Want More Hours? Join Us for Base Camps by The Core GroupStaff who work the after school program have the opportunity to pick up additional hours at the same hourly rate by joining us for full-day Base Camps.
