Staff Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Own the CI, build, and release infrastructure for AI software products (ONNX Runtime, ExecuTorch, TFLite / LiteRT delegates). Ensure fast, reliable, high-quality software delivery across Linux, Windows, and Android targets. Design, own, and evolve multi-platform CI pipelines, managing cross-platform dependencies and toolchain versioning. Implement HIL and on-device automated testing for Snapdragon SoC validation. Drive the end-to-end release pipeline, including versioning, artifact packaging, and distribution. Define and enforce automated quality gates, including regression benchmarks and performance thresholds.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of software/DevOps/release engineering experience, or Master's with 6+ years. Expert-level Python and Bash scripting skills. Hands-on experience integrating AI coding agents (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Codex) into CI/development workflows. Deep experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or similar) and Git-based SCM. Proven end-to-end ownership of build, release, and deployment pipelines in a multi-platform environment.
