Coating Operator

Summary We are looking for full-time Coatings Operator at a key service location in Walnut, CA. The Operator is responsible for the cleaning of tools including removal of previous coatings. They will be responsible for fixturing of tooling, loading/unloading of coatings vessels, and operating the coating vessel. This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual to achieve personal growth in an expanding operation. Applicants need a willingness to learn, interest in training and good communication skills. Starting compensation commensurate with the ability and experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Cleaning of tools to remove oil and other contaminants Building loads according to best practice to ensure that the working area on parts is coated properly Operating coating vessels to ensure maximum productivity Thorough completion of paperwork Troubleshoot equipment to resolve problems Perform maintenance on equipment per work instructions and training Operate sand blasting equipment Secondary duties include, but are not limited to, the following Assist with shipping and receiving of product as needed Assist with metal finishing when needed Assist in other areas as directed by management Required Able to communicate effective in English both verbally and written Excellent attendance record Attention to details Able to work at quick pace High School diploma Basic computer skills Able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis Mechanical ability Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Some college desirable. Ability to read manufacturing blue prints is desirable.
