Documentum DeveloperLocation: Archer, Houston, TX (ONSITE) Employment Type: ContractWe are seeking a highly experienced Documentum developer with deep expertise in OpenText Documentum platform, development, and enterprise integrations.The role will be responsible for designing, modernizing, and governing ECM platforms, ensuring scalability, compliance, and high availability across enterprise environments.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Documentum upgrades, installations, development, and extensive exposure to xECM for SAP, Brava, and Info Archive solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end Documentum platform architecture, including design, governance, and standardsLead Documentum upgrades, migrations, installations, and environment lifecycle managementDesign and implement scalable ECM solutions using Documentum D2, xCP, and Content ServerGood hands-on experience on developing using DFCDrive xECM for SAP integrations for enterprise content synchronization and business process enablementDefine and enforce security, compliance, audit, and governance frameworksProvide technical leadership for development, customization, and performance optimizationCollaborate with DevOps teams to define CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and automation frameworksEnsure high performance, availability, and disaster recovery readinessSupport incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiativesMust-Have Technical SkillsStrong experience in OpenText Documentum platform, including:Documentum Content ServerDocumentum D2 (Mandatory)xCP / Webtop / WDKProven expertise in:Documentum Upgrades, Installations, and ConfigurationDocumentum Development (DQL, BOF, Workflows, Methods)Extensive hands-on experience with:xECM for SAP (mandatory)Brava Viewer integration (mandatory)Info Archive (mandatory)Strong understanding of:Content lifecycle managementRepository design & security modelsPerformance tuning & troubleshootingKey Technical RequirementsStrong proficiency in Documentum D2 Development (mandatory)Solid understanding of Documentum core fundamentals (repository, object model, workflows)Experience with DFC development (good to have)Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS, storage, deployment models)Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environmentCompetenciesStrong knowledge of modern architecture patterns:SOLID PrinciplesMVC, N-tier ArchitectureRESTful APIs & SOAMicroservices & Modular MonolithsEvent-driven architectureDomain Driven Design (DDD)Experience in:Asynchronous and parallel processingScalable distributed system designTechnical Skills & ToolingStrong foundation in computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, OOP)Experience in:Relational data modelling & schema designSQL (Oracle / SQL Server preferred)DevOps exposure:Git / Version Control SystemsCI/CD tools (Azure DevOps / Jenkins)Knowledge of:Cloud deployment modelsContainerization (Docker)Orchestration (Kubernetes)Experience & Qualifications8+ years of relevant experience in ECM / Documentum ecosystemProven experience in:Large-scale enterprise ECM implementationsManaged services / support + transformation engagementsBachelor's or master's degree in computer science / IT or related field
