This is a rare opportunity to shape the strategy and execution of cutting-edge industrial systems that are gaining significant attention and commercial traction.What You’ll Do:Define and execute the long-term technology vision across hardware, electrochemical systems, and AI-driven automationLead a multidisciplinary engineering and R&D team, spanning mechanical, electrical, chemical, environmental, and physics disciplinesDrive the research, prototyping, and commercialization of advanced hardware platforms from lab to field deploymentOversee system integration, process optimization, and automation, ensuring scalable, manufacturable solutionsManage technical strategy, regulatory compliance, and IP stewardship, collaborating with partners, academic institutions, and regulatorsTranslate complex scientific principles into practical engineering solutions for industrial applicationsExperience:Proven leadership of cross-functional engineering teams in high-growth technology environmentsDeep expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, applied physics, and electrochemistryHands-on experience with prototype development, pilot deployment, and scale-up of hardware systemsStrong understanding of AI/automation integration, process optimization, and advanced control systemsExperience with regulatory pathways, standards, and technology validationExceptional communicator capable of bridging technical depth with business strategyNice to have:Ph.D. or Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or Applied Physics10+ years in water, industrial process, or electrochemical technology or related hardware-intensive sectorsThis is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for a mission-driven startup where technology and innovation are central to global growth.
