Video Producer/Project Manager (Full-time, Remote)

Do you work well under tight deadlines? Did you spend time in TV News learning the skill of telling a visual, compelling story in about 2 minutes? Do you take pride in finding interesting ways to arrange words and deliver messages? Are you great at the detailed organization it takes for effective solo project management?Idea Decanter is a women-owned, fully remote agency specializing in video marketing. We need you to quickly craft compelling video marketing scripts from pre-interviews with our clients that run 3-min or less. Those scripts are used in our remote video production service, Idea Kit.The clients you’ll be creating content with are financial advisors, though deep experience in financial services is not required for this role. We like to say we bring the “outside perspective” to our clients’ projects and help strip out the jargon. However, an understanding of financial planning is a plus.This is a work from home, subcontractor position starting at 25-35/hrs week.Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000 based on experienceRequirements:-3-5 years video script writing experience-Organized-Impeccable attention to detail-Great project management skills-Motivated to keep clients on track-Juggling dozens of client accounts at a time-Self-starter-Likes to work in a fast-paced environment-Passionate about customer service-Bandwidth to quickly respond to client needs and questions-Can turn complex subject matter into engaging scripts-Enjoys interviewing people & getting to the heart of the story-Ability to revise client scripts to make them more engaging and relatable-Grammar & style pro-Hates missing deadlines-Bachelor’s degreeIt’s a bonus if you have:-Experience in TV news & digital marketing-A desire to learn about financial topics-Experience with Wrike project managementTo apply, please submit your resume and cover letter to hiring@ideadecanter.com.
