This unit supports advanced therapies including ECMO, Impella, IABP, and CRRT in a fast-paced, critical care environment.Unit Highlights18-bed CVICU1:1 patient ratio24/7 Intensivist & Hospitalist in-houseExposure to:- Open heart surgeries- Vascular & thoracic cases- Cath lab & structural heart patientsRequirements (STRICT)Active RN LicenseBLS + ACLS required1+ year CVICU experience (open heart/advanced devices)Must be comfortable with:- ECMO, Impella, IABP, CRRT- Vent management- Titrating drips (vasopressors, sedation, antiarrhythmics)- Reading/interpreting tele stripsFloating- May float to all inpatient units (except NICU/Maternity)risis CVICU RN – 1:1 ratio | ECMO/Impella/IABP required.
