US Controller – Aftermarket
Dayco is seeking a strategic, hands-on US Controller - Aftermarket to lead finance for its U.S. aftermarket distribution operations in Memphis, Tennessee. This role serves as a key business partner to site operations and functional leaders and is responsible for all site financial operations, including profitability, forecast accuracy, working capital, internal controls, and decision support through clear financial analysis.The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability, expertise in accounting systems, and a solid background in operational finance. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, including experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment, as well as strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced setting.ResponsibilitiesOversee all site financial operations (monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis)Analyze financial performance (sales, costs, profitability, cash flow) and support business decisionsPartner with operations and sales on order activity, shipping performance, customer profitability, and forecast accuracyMonitor and control costs (product cost, labor, freight, overhead) and drive variance analysisManage inventory accounting (valuation, reserves, cycle counts, excess & obsolete)Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and audit requirements (internal/external)Lead and develop finance team, improving processes, systems, and cross-functional collaborationPosition RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred)Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling (finance/accounting roles)Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environmentStrong knowledge of financial systems, GL, budgeting, forecasting, and reportingExperience with audits and internal control frameworksProven leadership skills, strong communication, and continuous improvement mindset
