W2/1099/Own CorpZoomHybrid preferred but open to remoteMust have LinkedInThe consultant will provide hands-on operational support for VMware Cloud Foundation environments, including: Daily administration of:VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) vSphere / ESXi vCenter Server vSAN (where applicable) NSX (operational support, not design authority) Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance Respond to alerts, incidents, and operational issues Support VMware Lifecycle Management (LCM):SDDC Manager health checks Patch planning and execution (under change control) Pre- and post-upgrade validation VM lifecycle operations:Provisioning, modification, retirement Resource right sizing and cleanup Troubleshoot complex virtualization issues (L3) Support backup and recovery operations related to virtual infrastructure Collaborate with storage, network, and security teams during incidents and maintenance Maintain operational documentation and runbooks for supported processes 2.2 Omnissa Horizon VDI OperationsThe consultant will provide operational support for on premises Omnissa Horizon environment, including: Day to day administration of:Horizon Connection Servers Unified Access Gateways (UAG) Desktop pools (persistent and non persistent) App Volumes Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) Support VDI-related incidents, including:User connectivity issues Session performance problems Pool availability and capacity issues Administer images and assist with:Image updates and refresh cycles Validation of gold images prior to deployment Monitor Horizon health and capacity Support upgrades and maintenance (under approved change) Work with EUC and Service Desk teams for escalated VDI issues Maintain Horizon operational documentation and SOPs 2.3 Operational Support & Process Alignment Work within IT operational processes, including:Incident, problem, and change management ServiceNow ticket handling and documentation Participate in operational meetings, handoffs, and incident reviews Provide knowledge transfer to staff as requested Document operational procedures, fixes, and known issues Support on-call rotation if required (details defined separately) DeliverablesThis Is An Operational Staff-augmentation Role.
