President & CEO Reporting to the Board of Governors. Madison, WI. Executive Summary Madison Community Foundation (MCF) is a trusted community institution that has been in existence for over 80 years. It brings people together through philanthropy to build a more vibrant and equitable community. MCF is funded by donors, governed by a volunteer board of community leaders, and focused on strengthening impactful nonprofits in Greater Madison. We seek a values‑driven, experienced executive who provides strategic perspective and strong management capability, along with a genuine commitment to community, to serve as its next President & CEO. Responsibilities Serve as chief executive and public ambassador of MCF. Steward more than $400 million in core philanthropic assets. Lead a highly skilled staff of approximately 20 professionals. Provide strategic leadership that aligns with the mission, vision, values, and priorities approved by the Board. Serve as the link between the MCF Board and the operations of MCF. Qualifications Minimum of 5–10 years of proven executive‑level experience, preferably in philanthropy, nonprofit management, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in a related field is preferred. Benefits and Compensation Total compensation anticipated to be between $250,000 and $300,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
