Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Astranis, you will play a critical role in driving the RF and communications engineering development across all of our programs. You will guide projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they meet objectives, stay on schedule, and remain within budget. This involves significant cross-functional collaboration and adapting to challenges throughout the project lifecycle.RoleProactively identify and solve cross-discipline challengesDevelop integrated schedules with measurable milestones for all payload units and subsystemsTrack and document project progressServe as a liaison between the development engineering team and other project stakeholders, such as supply chain, software and operationsDrive risk and opportunity implementation and organizationIdentify and implement strategies to ensure projects are completed on scheduleWork closely within the Program Management team to ensure PM best practices and processes are implemented across AstranisRequirementsBS in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or similar>3 years in a project management role>3 years in an engineering roleStrong communication skillsHighly detail orientedEngineering experience in circuit design, electromagnetics and signal processingProven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast paced environment, overcome obstacles with creative solutions, and clearly document/communicate tactical plansBonusFamiliarity with Jira and SmartsheetsWhat we offer: All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.
