Prep Cook Proctor Academy is seeking a Prep Cook to join a talented team in preparing meals for the students, faculty and staff. The primary responsibilities include creating, preparing, and serving meals and assisting in the breakdown, clean-up, and sanitation of the cooking areas and meal stations. Creativity is encouraged. The hours are Thursday through Monday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm. The ideal candidate will have some experience managing a similar food service operation. Must understand written and verbal instructions, work as a team member and independently, stand for long periods, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, become ServSafe certified, and demonstrate reliable attendance. The benefits package is very generous, including a 401(k) plan with employer match after one year, health and dental insurance, life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability. 1 week of vacation upon hire, 2 weeks after one year, 16 paid holidays, 2 personal days, and 10 sick days a year.
