We are looking to add an Assembler with at least five (5) years of SCI manufacturing for a facility located in Waterville, OH. The Assembler III will work independently to assignments in minor fabrication, piping, mechanical assembly, and/or electrical wiring processes. They should be able to provide training for other assemblers in specific skills or tasks when assigned by the plant manager. They should be able to perform jobsite installations and/or repairs working as part of a field team or a work project leader. They should also have proficient skills in specific discipline(s) such that he can be categorized as a key SCI craftsman in that discipline. Ideal candidate must be able to manually stick weld.$19-$23/hr-- based on experienceWeekly Pay!Responsibilities and Duties(The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. This position is required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.)Master the use of hand and power toolsWork may require extensive periods of standing, bending, stretching, lifting, and reaching.Be proficient in wielding processes necessary for SCI manufacturing; read electrical prints & layouts, read piping prints (two-lined & isometric); read mechanical prints; read and understand suppliers' instructionsEmployees uses initiative in conducting recurring assignments to fabricate and assemble products by using drawings, sketches, and verbal directionMust be proficient in some forms of process and tack wielding; basic electrical skills including lay out and mount conduit and pull & terminate wire; lay out, cut & thread, and mount piping systems; set and align motors, pumps, other mechanical components etc.; lay out, set, level & align furnace drive systems.Employees will be required to use overhead cranes and fork trucks to set up and/or move equipment. Will assist in loading and unloading equipmentPerform jobsite installations as part of a field team and as a team leaderAssist in the training of less skilled or less experienced mechanics as directed by plant managementPerform other duties and functions as required.
