Vice President of Mission Solutions
Integer Technologies is seeking an entrepreneurial VP of Mission Solutions to bring our capabilities to a new set of customers – acquisition programs and fleet end-users where our innovative technologies can make a difference to their missions. The VP of Mission Solutions is responsible for building and leading a new operating group that delivers mission-critical and software-enabled solutions to government and defense customers, primarily in the maritime domain, and in the areas of subsea and seabed warfare, surface warfare, unmanned systems, and information warfare.This role is accountable for direct interaction with existing and potential new customers to capture & execute new work. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who understands what it takes to build a new operating group, with the support and security of a strong established business with >4 years of backlog. As the ‘front line leader’ for this emerging operating group, this role is accountable for the overall growth of the pipeline of funded work, intimacy with customers and strategic partners, and alignment of the group’s technical direction and offerings with the Company’s long-term strategy.This role is accountable for the execution of programs in the Mission Solutions portfolio, delivery to customers, and operational excellence across a portfolio of contracts, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to both mission outcomes and long-term company strategy. As such, the VP of Mission Solutions reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and requires healthy collaboration with the VP of Engineering for matrixed technical staff, and with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for matrixed business development staff and alignment with corporate-level strategy.
