Valuations Specialist opening with a Leading Real Estate Investment Firm in NYC.They are looking for someone to wear a lot of different hats and focus on assessing the valuations of real estate. The valuation professional will be exposed to complex equity and debt investments across multiple fund structures.Firm Overview:• Global Investment Firm• 30+ Years in Business, very stable environment• Very low turnover, promote a lot from within• Hybrid back to the office• Office in Midtown• 100% Covered Benefits, 401K+ Match, Gym Memberships• Team oriented, tight knit cultureResponsibilities:• Perform valuation analyses on real estate equity and debt investments.• Work with the deal team to understand how the latest macro-economic trends and property developments will influence holding value• Direct third-party valuation review process• Lead calls and provide written explanations regarding qualitative aspects of valuation, analytics, and position inquires• Identify, escalate, and address valuation discrepancies, risks or other issues• Assess existing processes versus leading best practices and propose enhancements
