Job Title: Program Manager (Rodent Abatement Program)Location: Auburn, CA 95602 (Local Candidates Only)Job Type: 12-Month ContractSchedule: Hybrid / Field-Based (Up to 50% Travel)Pay Rate: $70–$85/hour on W2Job SummaryWe are seeking a Program Manager to support a large utility organization's Rodent Abatement Program. This role is responsible for coordinating program activities, managing projects of moderate complexity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational goals.The ideal candidate will have rodent abatement or pest control experience, hold a valid California PCA (Pest Control Adviser) License, and possess strong project coordination and stakeholder communication skills. This position requires frequent travel (up to 50%) throughout the utility's California service territory.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate program activities related to rodent abatement initiatives.Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.Assess project needs and recommend practical solutions to support program objectives.Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and external stakeholders.Track project progress, budgets, risks, and performance metrics.Prepare reports, presentations, and status updates for leadership.Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and company standards.Support continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.Participate in meetings, field visits, and cross-functional project teams.Travel throughout the service territory as required (approximately 50%).Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 3 years of Program Management, Project Management, or related experience.Valid California Pest Control Adviser (PCA) License (Required).Experience in rodent abatement, pest management, vegetation management, environmental programs, or similar field operations.Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite:ExcelWordPowerPointVisioAccessPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting utility, environmental, or infrastructure programs.Knowledge of utility industry operations and regulatory requirements.Familiarity with energy industry trends and customer programs.Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.Ability to quickly learn internal processes and systems.Work EnvironmentOffice and field-based environment.Up to 50% travel throughout California service territory.Company laptop provided.PPE will be provided when required.Mileage, phone, and internet reimbursement may be available with prior management approval.Must-Have SkillsCalifornia PCA LicenseRodent Abatement / Pest Control ExperienceProgram or Project ManagementStakeholder CoordinationMicrosoft Office SuiteStrong Communication SkillsAbility to Travel (50%)Nice-to-Have SkillsUtility Industry ExperienceEnvironmental ComplianceProcess ImprovementRisk ManagementData Tracking & ReportingNote: This position is open to local candidates only due to the travel requirements within the assigned California service territory.
