We partner with growth-driven organizations, from mid-market leaders to global enterprises, with a client roster that includes 40+ companies generating $1B+ in annual revenue, alongside a diverse mix of emerging and established B2B brands.We’re in a strong growth phase and are expanding our team with high-performing, collaborative, and results-driven professionals who thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.The OpportunityWe’re seeking a Director of Client Development with proven experience driving new business inside a full-service marketing or advertising agency to add to our sales and team. This role is ideal for:A former agency owner or operator who enjoys business development but no longer wants to run an agency day-to-day, orA senior agency business development leader with a strong track record of closing net-new clients.This is a hands-on, consultative sales role focused on building relationships, shaping solutions, and closing high-value B2B engagements.Note: Due to the highly collaborative nature of our work, this role is on-site in our Gilbert office and is not a remote positionKey Responsibilities:Follow up on a consistent flow of inbound leads generated through Elevation’s organic and paid marketing efforts, we practice what we preach.Proactively develop pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting.Build and nurture relationships through phone, email, in-person meetings, and industry events.Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover business challenges and marketing gaps.Shape programs and solutions in collaboration with strategy, creative, digital, PR, and account teams.Present Elevation’s capabilities and point of view with confidence and credibility.Lead or support discovery calls, RFP responses, proposals, and pitch presentations.Close new business and transition signed clients smoothly to the account services team.Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and relationship tracking in the CRM.DetailsDemonstrated success closing new business within a full-service marketing or advertising agencyStrong understanding of both digital and traditional B2B marketingConsultative, strategic selling mindsetConfidence engaging senior-level client stakeholdersAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teamsComfort owning pipeline development, deal strategy, and closeCRM discipline and sales process rigorAbility to be perceived (bring value) as a marketing consultant first, one who exists to solve marketing problems and not be perceived as just a sales person.About Our Values Over time, we find that employees who live out our values, enjoy their experience and stay and prosper over a long period of time at Elevation.
