Candidates will also have the opportunity to work on Local Law 11 façade inspection and repair projects, gaining hands-on experience with NYC building regulations and compliance requirements.Responsibilities:Lead structural design and analysis for new construction, renovation, and retrofit projectsConduct and oversee Local Law 11 façade inspections and prepare engineering reportsPrepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and reportsConduct site inspections and provide professional recommendationsCollaborate closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical and innovative solutionsEnsure compliance with NYC Building Code, Local Law 11, and other applicable standardsMentor junior engineers and contribute to professional development within the teamQualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain in New York5+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, including building envelope, high-rise, or specialty structure projectsExperience with Local Law 11 inspections and façade remediation projects a strong plusProficiency with structural analysis software and strong technical problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilitiesIf you're interested, please apply or feel free to email me at tony.tasdemir@thomasyounggroup.com.
