Occupational Medicine Physician

Occupational Medicine Opportunity in North/Central Florida Job requirements: licensed M.D. or D.O.; Completion of an ACGME accredited-two year occupational medicine residency program.Job purpose: Primary focus clinic-based diagnosis and triage (non-invasive vs. surgical) and then executing a return-to-work treatment plan. Will also help structure the occupational health service line for the Group.Role: The occupational medicine physician oversees the patient's diagnosis and treatment of occupational illnesses and/or injury. Physician examines patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment, recommends tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition, and prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury.Physician will spearhead the overall plan for Group's worker's compensation line, develop protocols and process for the Group's occupational medicine services, and meet with industry, employers, and workers' compensation case managers.Position offers competitive compensation and full benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurances, paid time off, and more.
