Control Panel Technician/Electrical Apprentice

*Job Title:* Control Panel Wiring Technician *Location:* Bensalem *Estimated Duration:* Ongoing/Contract-to-Hire *Start Date:* ASAP *Pay:* W2 Format - Direct Deposit or Check weekly every Friday *Pay Rate:* $20.00 - $25.00/hr (Higher rates available for candidates with relevant experience) *SUMMARY* Verigent is seeking a *Control Panel Wiring Technician* to support a staging area for our high-profile data center clients. This role involves the precision wiring and assembly of control panels and equipment racks before they are deployed to live data center environments. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals and are *willing to train* candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Follow safety procedures and practice professional job etiquette. * Wire control panels and assemble equipment racks based on technical schematics and blueprints. * Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and termination within server racks. * Install components into racks and ensure all wiring is labeled and dressed according to client standards. * Utilize hand tools and power tools for mounting hardware and securing components. * Perform basic testing and quality checks on completed assemblies. * Maintain a clean and organized staging area. * Work efficiently to meet production deadlines for data center deployment. *QUALIFICATIONS* * *Prior experience in control panel wiring or electrical assembly is ideal but not required (training provided).* * Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand tools. * Ability to read or learn to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. * High attention to detail; ability to produce neat, organized, and precise work. * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. * Ability to work Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime available). *Upon meeting eligibility criteria, Verigent offers the following benefits:* * *Paid Time Off (PTO)* – Eligible after 1200 hours worked * *Paid holidays* – Eligible after 690 hours worked * *401K* – Eligible the first of the quarter after 90 days of employment * *Medical, dental and other additional voluntary benefits* – Eligible the first of the month after 60 days of employment *Essential Functions of the job:* * Lifting, carrying, adjusting, moving and/or transporting of objects up to 50 pounds * Walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, maintaining balance and/or crawling for extended periods * Pushing and pulling of arms and legs; use of abdominal and lower back muscles * Coordinating movements of the eyes, hands, fingers and feet * Ascending and descending of stairs, ladders, lifts, etc. * Speaking, hearing and seeing to avoid safety hazards * Strenuous manual labor *The environment for this job will involve:* * Indoor staging/warehouse environment * Interactions with other individuals * Loud noises and large machinery * Small and/or enclosed spaces (working within equipment racks) Job description is subject to change at supervisor’s discretion at any time.
