Job Description Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Manager to oversee daily production operations, ensuring equipment, materials, and personnel are functioning at optimal levels. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, maintaining product quality, and supporting team development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview daily production schedules and ensure materials are prepared and organizedEnsure machine crew is staffed, trained, and ready for productionMonitor and maintain quality standards, including submitting product samples and checksTroubleshoot and resolve quality issues as they ariseLead production changeovers and ensure proper procedures are followedSupport and develop team members through training and performance feedbackCollaborate with supervisors and leadership on waste reduction and process improvementParticipate in daily production meetings and report performance metricsMaintain accurate end-of-shift reportingStep into various crew roles as needed to support operationsEnsure compliance with all safety policies and proceduresCore Focus AreasSchedule AttainmentProduction EfficiencyProduct QualityPersonnel DevelopmentQualifications & SkillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesProblem-solving and decision-making skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsExperience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredSpanish-speaking (bilingual English/Spanish) preferredWork EnvironmentIndustrial manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery, airborne particles, and noiseHearing protection and other PPE required in designated areasPhysical RequirementsLift up to 20 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally (team lift required over 50 lbs)Frequent standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and use of hands/armsOccasional squatting, kneeling, and reachingA high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.This job description represents a summary of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
