Mechanical Design Engineer III

Mechanical Design Engineer III Greenville, SC 12 Months Pay: $58.47 40Hrs per week - Aligned to 1st shift eastern time zone working hours Responsibilities: - Execute 2D & 3D gas turbine rotor finite element analyses in Ansys - Perform typical post processing exercises such as LCF crack initiation, LCF crack propagation, summarize bolted joint behavior, strength evaluations, etc. - Pull CAD models from PLM - Work CAD models in Siemens NX - Summarize and document analytical results - Support automation of typical tasks with Python as needed - Support defect evaluation through analysis - Present on routine project status meetings - Strong communication skills - Highly collaborative and works well in team environment Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - 6+ years of relevant work experience
