Job DescriptionTele-RadiologistPosition SummaryThe Tele-Radiologist provides remote diagnostic interpretation of medical imaging studies to support timely and accurate patient care across multiple clinical settings. This role emphasizes high-quality image interpretation, effective communication with referring providers, and adherence to regulatory, quality, and turnaround time standards in a remote work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret diagnostic imaging studies remotely, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine as credentialedGenerate accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reportsCommunicate critical and urgent findings in accordance with established protocolsProvide consultative support to referring physicians and clinical teamsMaintain compliance with quality assurance, patient safety, and regulatory standardsParticipate in peer review and continuous quality improvement activitiesUtilize PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems for image interpretation and reportingAdhere to turnaround time expectations and coverage schedulesSupport appropriate imaging utilization and evidence-based practicesPractice SettingFully remote or hybrid teleradiology environmentCoverage may include hospitals, emergency departments, and outpatient imaging centersFlexible scheduling, including day, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts as requiredPatient PopulationPediatric and adult patientsBroad range of diagnostic imaging needs across care settingsQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency programBoard certified or board eligible in Diagnostic RadiologyEligible for medical licensure in the states servedFellowship training in a radiology subspecialty preferred but not requiredSkills & CompetenciesStrong diagnostic accuracy and attention to detailProficiency across multiple imaging modalitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote settingFamiliarity with teleradiology workflows and technology platformsCommitment to quality, efficiency, and turnaround time standardsWork EnvironmentRemote, technology-enabled clinical environmentDistributed, collaborative care modelEmphasis on reliability, quality outcomes, and diagnostic excellence
