Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Engineer II for a long-term, hybrid consulting engagement. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer with strong DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience, particularly within AWS environments. The candidate will play a key role in building, automating, and maintaining scalable systems while supporting development and operations teams.Location: HybridDuration: 12-Month ContractKey ResponsibilitiesCreate, manage, and modify AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Lambda, APIs, and related servicesScript and manage Jenkins jobs to automate code deployments and remote service managementBuild and maintain Docker containers to support vendor and development needsConfigure and support web servers including Apache and NginxImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or PuppetMonitor system performance and reliability using tools such as SCOM, Splunk, New Relic, and AWS CloudWatchCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentRequired Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Systems Engineering / DevOpsHands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructureStrong scripting skills (Bash and/or Python)Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, or Stash)Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCIExperience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systemsExperience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDBUnderstanding of networking fundamentalsExperience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or RedmineAWS Certification & Windows Administration experience are nice to have.
