About SkyviewA highly established private equity firm with offices in Los Angeles and Miami is seeking an exceptional Senior Associate / Vice President to join its growing investment team.With a 20+ year track record of success, the firm specializes in special situations, corporate carveouts, and value-oriented lower middle-market investments, primarily targeting transactions ranging from $25M–$250M in enterprise value.The firm is currently raising its first institutional fund and targeting under $400M in total AUM, creating a unique opportunity for an investment professional seeking both platform stability and meaningful upside. This is a proven, deal-active organization entering an exciting new phase of growth and institutional evolution.The ideal candidate will play a key role in transaction execution, investment analysis, and portfolio value creation while working closely with senior leadership across all stages of the investment lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and analyze potential investment opportunities across targeted industriesBuild and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materialsConduct market research, industry analysis, and due diligenceSupport transaction execution from sourcing through closePrepare investment committee presentations and related materialsPartner cross-functionally with internal teams, advisors, lenders, and portfolio company leadershipAssist in identifying operational improvements and value creation initiatives within portfolio companiesQualifications3–8+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or transaction advisoryStrong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skillsetExperience supporting or leading due diligence and transaction execution processesExcellent communication and presentation skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis toolsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative team playerBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field requiredMBA or advanced degree preferredPreferred BackgroundExperience within lower middle-market private equity or M&A environmentsExposure to special situations, carveouts, or value-oriented investing strategiesEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, high-impact environment
