Rubbercraft is seeking an Account Program Manager 3 (Aerospace) who is responsible for the day-to-day management, sustainment and growth of key accounts by owning the representation of Key Accounts across Rubbercraft departments. Builds strong relationship with customers based on prompt and active communication, , providing prompt status updates and required information from other departments at Rubbercraft. Owns and manages Key Account Scorecards, partners with departments to achieve 100% quality and 100% on time delivery ratings. This position also includes responsibilities for order entry, ERP/MRP ownership related to change orders and updates to sales orders in the system, as well as general administrative tasks to support account management and operational efficiency.About RCC: Rubbercraft is a trusted leader in engineered elastomer solutions serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. We take pride in craftsmanship, collaboration, and a culture built on innovation and reliability.Reporting StructureDirect Line – Commercial DirectorWorking ConditionsOnsite at Rubbercraft, Long Beach, CaliforniaTravel 10% to training locations, customer and supplier locationsStandard office environmentWork requires substantial visual concentration on detail.Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.Must be able to work from written and verbal instructions.Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPEMay be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes.Standing: 30% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task / Sitting: 70% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task / Lifting (in pounds): up to 20 pounds / Pushing (in pounds): up to 20 pounds / Mental/Visual: use of computer / Workspace (line, cube, etc): Office or CubeMain Duties and Responsibilities:Acts as the primary point of contact for designated customers at the Rubbercraft manufacturing locationEnsures strong customer service and satisfaction by coordinating resources to support quality and on-time delivery performanceOwns and manages Key Account Scorecards; maintains customer portals and utilizes EDI systemsProvides analysis to ensure backlog alignment with customer requirementsPartners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to prepare delivery schedules and support customer commitmentsSupports and helps lead customer meetings, calls, and visits, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and actions are trackedBuilds and maintains relationships within customer organizations and related stakeholdersResolves customer issues and provides timely, effective solutionsInterfaces with estimating to support RFQs and customer requirementsOwns administrative aspects of order management, including order entry, ERP/MRP updates for change orders, and sales order modificationsEnsures customer documentation is properly distributed and retainedTravels to customer sites as neededAssumes additional responsibilities as requiredJob Specifications:Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceYears Experience: 7+ years of experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Account Management, or Technical Sales supporting OEM Aerospace accounts (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed, Gulfstream, Northrop, Airbus, Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney) or similar complex manufacturing environmentsSkills:Experience creating delivery schedules (LOBs), program updates, and presentationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-makingExperience working within ERP/MRP systems supporting contract review, order management, and RMA processesResults-oriented with strong customer service focusStrong planning, organization, and teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and other office tools (including use of formulas and tables)Effective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functionsPreferred QualificationsPMP Certification (Program Management Institute)Experience supporting complex aerospace programs or customer accountsSome of our competitive benefits package includes:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation for newly hired employees401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds.Life insurance and disability coverageBenefits: At Rubbercraft, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
