Our dedicated engineering and customer service teams work tirelessly to provide reliable airflow control and monitoring devices tailored to meet the unique needs of every customer.We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.The Quality Manager owns and continuously improves the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring products and processes consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.This role supports a precision manufacturing environment producing HVAC sensing and control components for OEM customers. The Quality Manager partners closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues, strengthen processes, and drive continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Systems & ComplianceLead and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)Ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirementsLead internal audits and external certification auditsProduct & Process QualityEstablish quality standards for precision-manufactured components and assembliesDevelop inspection strategies for incoming, in-process, and final product verificationDrive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause investigationsCustomer QualityServe as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and corrective actionsLead structured problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysisSupport customer audits, PPAPs, FAIs, and product qualification activitiesSupplier QualityManage supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective actionsConduct supplier audits and support supplier development initiativesContinuous ImprovementLead initiatives to reduce scrap, defects, and process variationApply quality tools, including SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and process capability analysisSupport Lean and Six Sigma initiatives across manufacturingLeadershipLead and develop the quality team, including engineers, technicians, and inspectorsProvide training on quality standards and proceduresPromote a culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellenceQualifications NeededEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience5–10 years of manufacturing quality experienceExperience managing or supporting ISO 9001 quality systemsExperience in electromechanical, HVAC, controls, industrial components, or precision manufacturing environments preferredTechnical SkillsRoot cause analysis and structured problem solvingStatistical quality methods and SPCQuality audits and regulatory complianceCross-functional leadership and strong communication skillsPreferred CertificationsASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)Six Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltISO 9001 Lead AuditorQuality Metrics ExperienceExperience managing KPIs such as:Customer PPMInternal scrap/defect rateSupplier quality performanceCorrective action effectivenessCost of Poor Quality (COPQ)BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceFSA, HSA, HRA, and Employee Assistance ProgramPaid holidays, vacation, and PTOMatching 401(k) retirement plan
