Parts Center Planner
OVERVIEWThe Parts Center Planner supports day-to-day parts inventory and stock room operations, including inventory tracking, order fulfilment, reporting , and coordination with internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency and timely service KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and maintain optimal inventory levels for spare parts by monitoring stock usage, demand trends, and reorder points. Analyze inventory to forecast future needs and prevent shortages or overstock. Inventory Control: Implement and maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counting, bin location management, and reconciling physical stock with parts warehouse systems. Order Fulfilment: Responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching of parts, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely shipment to customers or service technicians. Parts Process Implementation: Implements parts warehouses processes, including returns, warranties, and processing stock orders to maintain parts inventory accuracy. Customer Service: Provides customer service support, interface with customers or internal service departments to answer inquiries regarding part availability, order status, or shipping. Resolves more complex issues and problems of dealers, Authorized Service Centers, official parts distributors, and end users. Responsible for all activities related to parts orders to Tokyo as directed including shipping schedules and resolves any parts issues with Tokyo. Coordinates with other departments to troubleshoot, resolve system problems, implement new systems, and/or modify existing ones as necessary, Ensure back-order system is being followed - "first in, first out" basis. Prepares and submits daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual parts reports, various inventory reports, forecasts and other reports as deemed necessary. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs Assists in the coordination and creation of strategies for liquidated and excess inventory items. Assists department Manager in creating and carrying out long and short-term strategies and action plans for growth and maintenance of the Parts Department. QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree in business, or related field. 3-5+ years of parts mgmt. experience, with expertise in inventory management, planning and operational oversight. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to follow through and meet deadlines. Must have good problem solving/trouble shooting skills. Requires strong interpersonal and instructional skills. Must have organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Willingness to do whatever is needed to achieve department goals and requirements, including working non-standard and weekend hours as required. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others. LOCATIONThis role is on-site in our Rockaway, NJ office. This position offers a base salary range from $48,000 to $55,000 a year, determined by a variety of factors including relevant skills, experience, location, business needs and market demand.
