Automotive Service Advisor
Overview
We are looking for a someone who can effectively and confidently council customers on what is needed to keep their cars safe, reliable, and ideally, well maintained!
Duties
Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed auto estimating and service writing to ensure transparency.
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, including diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, etc.
Ability to recommend additional services such as wheel alignments or preventive maintenance while maintaining integrity and customer trust.
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions and process payments efficiently.
Keep detailed records of all service activities, vehicle history, and customer interactions for seamless follow-up.
Foster strong relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in automotive service advisor background is highly preferred.
Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs is a plus.
Familiarity with Tekmetric is a plus.
Experience in sales or selling automotive services confidently while maintaining customer trust.
Knowledge of a wide range of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brakes, and alignment procedures is a plus,
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Scheduling appointment, answering phone calls, and occasionally locking up in the evening
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
