Unarmed Security Guard

Security And Property Protection Program Coordinator Ensures compliance of the company's security and property protection programs of associates and guests by performing various duties.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Conducts the following activities: first response, fire prevention, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel and investigation of property damage, motor vehicle accidents and criminal acts in accordance with company policies and applicable laws/regulations.Works with law enforcement as it relates to crimes if reportableInvestigates/interviews guest trespassing offensesDocuments shift informationPerforms surveillance of guest and employees as it relates to theft or other suspicious activity, both plain clothed and uniformedGathers and documents evidence as it relates to theftTestifies in court/deposition as a witness in all his/her cases brought to trialAddresses and resolves complaints/problems within security/safety scope of responsibility.All other duties as assigned by management.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
