Job Title: React Engineer (Technical Lead – Mode 2)Location: PhiladelphiaJob Type: Contract (3–6 Months)Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Core EST Support: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)Education: Bachelor’s Degree RequiredAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Senior React Engineer (Technical Lead – Mode 2) to support a new strategic initiative — the Financial Planning Hub, a large-scale web application.This role will partner closely with an existing technical lead and play a critical role in guiding a highly experienced Angular team as they transition into the React ecosystem.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise, leadership, and hands-on coaching ability to accelerate team capability and ensure a strong architectural foundation.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the technical lead to design and build a scalable React-based web applicationGuide and mentor team members transitioning from Angular to ReactLead the setup and configuration of complex React architecture, including:RoutingState managementModule federationProvide expert recommendations on best practices in front-end architectureDrive development of core features and contribute to initial build-outEnsure high standards in performance, accessibility, and maintainabilitySupport and enhance the team’s React training and upskilling effortsRequired QualificationsExpert-level experience in Front-End Engineering and ArchitectureStrong proficiency in ReactExperience with micro front-end architecture (preferably Preact)Hands-on experience with:TypeScriptNode.jsNxStrong understanding of:Web performance optimizationAccessibility standards (WCAG)Scalable front-end architecturePreferred QualificationsPrior experience leading or coaching engineering teamsExperience working with Angular teams transitioning to ReactExposure to large-scale enterprise applicationsAdditional InformationImmediate hiring requirement (project starting soon)Strong preference for on-site presence in PhiladelphiaRemote option available for candidates with immediate availabilityRole level: Senior (Level 3–4 equivalent)
